Privacy Policy

The short version: the QR codes you make are generated entirely in your browser and never sent to us. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps basic server logs, and the advertising that keeps the tool free uses cookies. The details are below.

Who we are

QR Forge (www.qr3dforge.com) is a free tool for creating QR codes and 3D-printable QR code models. It is run by the QR Forge team. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at eaavideoproductions@outlook.com.

What you enter into the generator

Links, text, Wi-Fi network names and passwords, logos and any other content you enter into the QR code generator are processed only in your own web browser. They are not uploaded to our server, we do not store them, and we cannot see them. The PNG, SVG, 3MF and STL files you download are created on your device.

Information collected automatically

Server logs

Our website is hosted by Hostinger. Like virtually every web host, their servers automatically record basic technical information when a page is requested, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page and the date and time. These logs are used to keep the site running, secure and free of abuse. We do not use them to identify individual visitors.

Content delivery services

To load quickly, some pages use fonts from Google Fonts and code libraries from public content delivery networks (cdnjs and jsDelivr). When your browser loads these files, the provider receives your IP address and standard browser information, as with any web request. Their use of that data is covered by their own privacy policies.

Advertising and cookies

QR Forge is free because it shows ads. We use Google AdSense to serve those ads.

Google and its partners may also use cookies, device identifiers and similar technologies to measure ad performance and prevent fraud. You can learn more in Google's explanation of how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Where required by law — for example, for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland — you will be asked for consent before personalized ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time using the privacy settings link provided with that consent message.

Managing cookies in your browser

Most browsers let you view, block and delete cookies in their settings. Blocking cookies will not stop the QR code generator from working.

What we do not do

Emails you send us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply to you and keep it only as long as needed for that purpose.

Children

QR Forge is a general-audience tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR in Europe or state privacy laws such as the CCPA in California), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information about you, or to object to certain uses of it. Because we hold very little information directly, most requests relate to our advertising and hosting partners; you can use the opt-out links above, and you can contact us at eaavideoproductions@outlook.com with any request and we will help however we can.

Links to other websites

Our guides link to other websites for further reading. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last changed.
